Horizon Publishing Company purchases
The Pure Fundamentalist newsletter

Hammond, Indiana, 23 December—On Nov. 15, 1999, Horizon Publishing Company purchased The Pure Fundamentalist® stock market newsletter from A.B.G.T. Publishing. The Pure Fundamentalist joins four other Horizon Publishing newsletters including the Dow Theory Forecasts^®, DRIP Investor^®, The Low Priced Stock Survey^® and No-Load Stock Insider^®.

Horizon Publishing Company has been a leader in the country’s financial industry for more than 50 years. The company has provided timely investment guidance to subscribers since 1946 when the flagship publication Dow Theory Forecasts was launched.

The goal of the acquisition is to increase subscriber support by enhancing performance, value-added content and overall customer support.

The majority of Horizon Publishing Company products and services are developed and maintained in-house including customer service, customer fulfillment, research and editorial, and marketing.

Subscribers will continue to profit from the outstanding performance record and excellent reputation of The Pure Fundamentalist. The support of a trained customer service, marketing and research department will enhance subscriber benefits. Pure Fundamentalist editors Al Toral and Leigh Gignilliat will remain with Horizon Publishing Company and will continue providing market research and advice via the Internet, mail and by phone.

Recently, The Pure Fundamentalist received a No. 1 ranking for 5-year performance by Hulbert Financial Digest, a leading monitor of newsletter performance.
